Ana Rosso

Ana Rosso is a lecturer in French at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya’s Centre for Modern
Languages. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Comparative British and French 19 th Century Literature
by the University of Exeter (United Kingdom) in 2013. Ana has experience in materials and
language learning online applications design. At the UOC, Ana coordinates all the French
language courses.

Her research interests revolve around learner engagement, sense of progress, goal setting,
flipped learning, and gamification.
