Blanca Cristofol Garcia

Researcher specialized in Second Language Acquisition (SLA), with a focus on learners’ affective dimension in online contexts. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish and Catalan as Foreign Languages (Universitat de Girona) and a PhD in Education and ICT (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). Her research explores the dynamics of learners’ emotions and engagement in virtual learning environments. Blanca has worked as a research assistant at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and she has experience teaching at the university level in multicultural settings, including institutions such as ESADE and the American University in Dubai.
